Psyllium Husk
Psyllium Husk is a natural white fiber obtained from the seeds of the medicinal plant Plantago ovata. It is the outer mucilaginous layer surrounding the Psyllium seed, separated through a controlled mechanical process without the use of chemicals.
The husk is composed primarily of hemicellulose, a complex carbohydrate naturally found in whole grains, fruits, and vegetables. Owing to its high soluble fiber content and excellent swelling capacity, Psyllium Husk is widely recognized as a pure natural dietary fiber and is globally consumed as a bulk-forming laxative.
Psyllium Husk can be consumed in its natural form or in flavored formulations, typically mixed with liquids such as water, juice, or milk, depending on application requirements.
