Psyllium Husk Powder
Psyllium Husk Powder is the finely milled form of Psyllium Husk obtained from the outer epidermis of Plantago ovata seeds through controlled mechanical processing. It consists predominantly of soluble dietary fiber (hemicellulose) and exhibits high swelling and mucilage-forming properties.
Psyllium Husk Powder is widely used as a bulk-forming laxative and as a functional excipient in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, food, and personal care formulations. It may be administered in its natural form or incorporated into flavored dosage forms, and is typically dispersed in liquids such as water, juice, or milk to facilitate hydration and functional performance.
